The suspended Commissioner for Information in Rivers State, Joe Johnson, has revealed that the Fubara-led administration had already reviewed proposals from agricultural firms in Israel and the United States aimed at reviving the Songhai Integrated Farms.
Speaking on Nigeria Info FM’s Morning Crossfire on Monday, Johnson reacted to the recent announcement by the Rivers State Sole Administrator to revive the farm, warning that initiating new investor engagements could undermine existing efforts.
He emphasized that the core objectives of the revival project include creating training and employment opportunities for youth and boosting agricultural productivity across the state.
