The Rivers State Chapter of the Standard Organisation of Nigeria, SON, says it generated N85 million to the Federal Government through Service Charges last year.
State coordinator of the organization, Samuel Ayuba disclosed this, when the DG of SON, Faruk Salim visited its office in Port Harcourt.
He said despite the challenges posed by the dreaded COVID-19, the state was able to generate such amount.
He also called on the national leadership to support their operations with LGP testing Van. “This will help our operations and increase in revenue generation,” he said.
