Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has expressed confidence in securing a landslide victory in the ongoing governorship election, declaring that not even a ₦100,000 offer per voter by his opponents would change the outcome.
Speaking shortly after casting his vote at Polling Unit 002, Umuezeadigo Street, in his hometown of Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate stated that the electoral process has been largely peaceful across the state, although he acknowledged minor technical challenges in a few polling units.
Soludo commended residents for their orderly conduct and reaffirmed his faith in the people’s support, stressing that his administration’s developmental strides would speak for him at the polls.
He urged voters to remain calm and vigilant as the electoral process unfolds, expressing optimism that the will of the people would prevail.
