Chairman of the Ahoada Ultramodern Market, Smart Abaje has reacted to the continuous closure of markets in the state. Abaje in a chat with journalists said goods in the market have all expired due to continuous closure of markets by the state government.
He also stated that huge sums of money have equally been lost as a result of the continuous closure of the ultramodern market.
He appealed to the Rivers State government to reopen markets as its disclosure has brought untold hardship on traders and residents of the state.
He promised to ensure strict compliance with the directives of the state government and all COVID-19, protocols, should the Ahoada market reopen.
