Lawyer to the family of Daniel Chibuike Ikeaguchi popularly known as Sleek has expressed disappointment over the sysyem adopted by the Rivers State judicial commission of inquiry.
Barrister Noble Ogbonnaya Njoku who described the system as “messed up” in a chat with journalists shortly after the commission struck out the petition he submitted.
Head of the Commission, Justice Chukwunenye Uriri had struck out the petition they submitted noting that the matter was already before a court of competent jurisdiction.
The lawyer who expressed disappointment over the act said, they had come to ask for N1bn compensation for the murder of “Sleek”. Sleek was allegedly killed by a Mobile Police officer few weeks ago in Port Harcourt.
