Seventeen graduates of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) have officially joined the dental profession following their induction by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). The ceremony was presided over by the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of MDCN, Prof. Fatima Kyari, represented at the event by Dr. Mandaka Tijani.

In his address, Dr. Tijani urged the new dental surgeons to maintain the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and dedication to serving humanity.

Congratulating the inductees, UNIPORT Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Owunari Abraham Georgewill, encouraged them to serve as exemplary ambassadors of the university while contributing to the advancement of oral healthcare in Nigeria and beyond.
