Counsel to convicted serial killer, Gracious David West, Christian Chuku has revealed that processes are now on to appeal the death sentence against his client.
West was convicted of the murder of several young women and attempted murder of another woman identified as Benita Etim in October last year.
Justice, Adolphous Enebeli found West guilty of the charges levelled against him and sentenced him to death by hanging in 2020.
Chuku said he has filed an appeal at the Port Harcourt division of the Appeal Court to challenge the judgement.
