The Senate has approved a total of N1.8 trillion for the 2025 Statutory Appropriation Bill of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA). The approval came during plenary on Wednesday, following the presentation of the report by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on FCT, Senator Bomai Ibrahim (APC-Yobe).
In his report, Senator Ibrahim noted that the Senate and its House of Representatives counterpart held joint sessions with the FCT Minister and other key officials to scrutinize and deliberate on the proposed budget before its final passage.
