The Senator representing Rivers South-East Senatorial district, George Sekibo has promised to donate a 140 KVA generator and a Covid protocol machine for the over 10-room guest house he constructed for the Rivers State University Alumni.
Sen. Sekibo made the pledge during the commissioning of the edifice in the school, yesterday.
The commissioning had in attendance, the President of the University’s Alumni, Prince Kio, Rivers PDP Chairman, Desmond Akawor and Vice Chancellor of the school, Prof. Nlerum Okogbule amongst others.
According to Sekibo, he will not stop in contributing to the growth of the institution.
President of the University’s Alumni, Prince Kio who commended Sekibo for being a worthy ambassador of the school, urged others to emulate him.
On his part, Chairman of the PDP in Rivers State, Desmond Akawor called for proper management of the edifice and also commended Sen. Sekibo for the kind gesture.
