The schools selected for renovation include Community Secondary School, Egbu Etche; Community Secondary Umuozoche, Igbodo; and Government Secondary School, Ndashi. These renovations are part of a district-wide initiative to enhance the quality of education for students in suburban and rural areas.
Senator Onyesoh, who previously served as chairman of the Rivers State School Board, has a history of impactful contributions to the education sector. During his tenure, over 13,000 graduate teachers were employed to address classroom shortages in public schools. This large-scale employment initiative remains unmatched by subsequent administrations.
