The Rivers State Police Command, says it is closely monitoring the security situation in Andoni Local Government Area, Rivers State.
Spokesperson for the Command, Nnamdi Omoni disclosed this in a chat with news correspondents in Port Harcourt, on Friday.
He said there is no cause for alarm, as officers of the command are on ground to forestall outbreak of law and order.
Omoni noted that security is everybody’s business and should not be left for security agencies alone.
He called on residents of the area to provide the Police, with useful information that will lead to the arrest of criminal elements in the area.
He said despite attacks on Police officers, they are committed to ensuring the protection of lives and properties of Rivers people.
