Executive Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Hon. Chidi Lloyd says the Inspector General of Police has approved two additional Police Divisions for the area inline with his administration’s commitment to effectively police the area, with a view to improving the security of lives and properties across the LGA.
Dr. Lloyd made this known at the 2nd edition of his administration’s account of stewardship to the people of Emohua LGA, held at the council secretariat complex on Monday.
He stated that his preparedness for the leadership of the Local Government is evident in his achievements from June 2021 when he assumed office as the chairman of the local government.
He also said his administration was in a hurry to change the narrative about the local government area, hence it took some painful but very resultful decisions to sanitize the financial system of the local government council.
He however attributed the achievements of his administration to the support of leaders and critical stakeholders in the LGA, as well as the cooperation of the local government legislative assembly, appreciating the leadership caucus of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Emohua LGA for their continuous support and encouragement to the policies and programs of his administration.
As you may, Dr. Lloyd recently built a Police Division close to the new campus of the Rivers State University to provide security for students and people of the area.
