Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, has reacted to today’s Appeal Court ruling that dismissed a suit brought before it by Uche Secondus seeking to stop the National convention of the People’s Democratic Party.
Wike, in a statement shortly after the ruling, described it as “victory for party members.”
He stated that Secondus wanted to distract the party from rescuing the country from the ruling APC that has failed Nigerians.
Wike, said it was unfair Secondus dragged the party to court after all he had achieved and benefitted from the party.
He said the convention could now hold peacefully and that the PDP is set to rescue Nigerians from the claws of the APC.
The governor said he expected Secondus to accept his removal in good faith for the sake of Nigerians.
