Residents of Bonny Island on Monday staged a peaceful protest against the recurring incessant attacks by sea pirates in on their water ways.
The Protesters marched to the secretariat of the Bonny Local Government Chairman demanding that the Natural ruler of Bonny Kingdom, The Amayaanabo of Bonny King Edward William Dappa Pepple III, Con, Perekule XI, and the Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, David Irimagha set up security gun boats , The federal Government, State Government and the NDDC set up a security surveillance team on the Sea routes.
