The People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State, has promised a level playing ground for all aspirants of the party, as screening begins, today.
Chairman of the party in the State, Amb. Desmond Akawor disclosed this while addressing aggrieved aspirants at the party’s secretariat in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
According to him, the party belongs to every member, adding that all aspirant would be fairly treated and given equal opportunity.
Some aspirants had earlier accused the leadership of the party of compromise.
They made the allegation during a protest at the party’s Secretariat along Aba Road, today.
