The Rivers State Police Command has denied rumours making the rounds that a notorious cultist known as “school boy” who was arrested with an AK-47 riffle at a waterfront in Diobu died in their custody.
The State commissioner of Police, Joseph Mukan in a chat with Journalists yesterday said the suspect was rescued from a mob but died on the way to the hospital.
He noted that the suspect who has been terrorising waterfronts in Diobu, was arrested following intelligence reports by men of the Diobu vigilantee group.
