The Rivers State Government says SARS Road in Port Harcourt will be ready for use in less than 96 hours.
The state Ministry of Works in a statement Today said the road is 98 percent complete.
It also said installation of pavement has commenced after weeks of intensive excavation, concrete pavement and desilting of drains.
“After weeks of intensive excavation, subgrade compaction, soil stabilisation, concrete pavement installation, and desilting of drains, the installation of asphaltic pavement has commenced. SARS Road will be ready for use in less than 96 hours,” the state Ministry of Works said.
SARS Road was few months ago renamed Sir. Celestine Omehia Road by the Rivers State Government.
