The Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA) has announced that this month’s environmental sanitation will hold tomorrow, Saturday Oct 31, 2020.
Sole Administrator of the Agency, Felix Obuah made this known in a statement through his media aid Jerry Needam, yesterday.
He said both human and vehicular movement will be restricted during the exercise which starts at 7:00AM and ends at 10:00AM.
Obuah called on council chairpersons of the 23 LGA’s of the state to ensure strict compliance with the directive in their domains.
He also advised residents of the state to clean their surroundings and dump their waste at the approved dump sites so they can be easily evacuated.
