Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has revealed that “Oleku,” the hit track by Nigerian rapper Ice Prince featuring Brymo, was his favourite Nigerian song while growing up.
Speaking in a recent conversation with British actor Daniel Kaluuya, Saka shared insights into the music that shaped his childhood.
“When I was young, my favourite Nigerian song was ‘Oleku’ by Ice Prince and Brymo. The song is a banger. Go listen to it,” the 24-year-old said, referring to Oleku, a track that enjoyed massive popularity across Nigeria and beyond.
Saka, whose parents emigrated from Nigeria to the United Kingdom, has often spoken proudly of his Nigerian heritage.
The revelation comes shortly after the England international committed his future to Arsenal by signing a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2031. His previous deal was set to expire in June 2027.
