The Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development , Sadiya Farouq has commended beneficiaries of batches A and B for successfully completing their Npower programme at their places of primary assignment.
Sadiya who made this known in a statement equally commended states for their support in ensuring the success of the programme. She said the exit of Batch A and B beneficiaries is not a punitive action. “It is a proactive intervention to help up skill your brothers and sisters and assist them further along on their journey through life,” she noted.
The Batch A and B beneficiaries of the programme have been working for close to two years now in Primary Healthcare centres, previously unmanned classrooms and as agric extension advisors across the country
Large-scale skill development is the main policy thrust of the N-Power Programme by the Federal government to ease the unemployment rate in the country. Registration for the Batch C programme is currently ongoing.
