The Rivers State government has said it is yet to receive the approved N78.9 billion from the Federal Government, a refund for repairs effected on federal roads in the state.
Paulinus Nisirim, Commissioner for Information and Communication made this known yesterday in Port Harcourt.
Mr Nsirim was reacting to reactions on why the state government is still going ahead to borrow money despite the N78.9 billion approved by the federal government for the state.
The federal government had few months ago approved the sum of N78.9 billion naira to be paid to the state government for repairs of federal roads in the state.
