The Rivers State Government has warned the Oba of Ogbaland, Sir (Dr) Chukumela Nnam Obi II not to go ahead with the planned inauguration of the Community’s Development Committee.
This is because it violates the government’s order on the formation of such committee.
The state Commissioner of Chieftaincy Affairs, Sam Soni Ejekwu disclosed this in a signed statement yesterday.
He also warned the youths of the area to desist from any act capable of causing panic and unrest in the area, as government will not condone any act of violence from anyone.
