The Rivers State Government has urged media organisations in the state to promote the achievements of the state government and desist from painting the state in bad light.
The State Commissioner of Energy and Natural Resources, Hon. Peter Medee made the call after he was honoured by a newspaper outfit, “Port Harcourt Spectator” for his contribution to the growth of society.
He cautioned media organisations against using their platforms to de-market the state and promote wicked and selfish ambitions of politicians.
He said promoting the good deeds of the government will bring investors to the state for the betterment of all.
