The Rivers State Government has released a toll-free line for students and parents to call and report any principal or teacher asking them to pay any form of fees or levies.
Prof. Kaniye Ebeku, the State Commissioner for Education made this known in a statement Today in Port Harcourt.
He equally stated that schools, teachers, invigilators, or any person caught participating in examination malpractice will be dealt with in line with the laws of the land.
Prof. Ebeku, furthermore warned principals against extorting funds from students in exit classes preparing for their forthcoming exams.
