The Rivers State Government has announced that it has launched an automated system to improve health care delivery in the state.
The Special Adviser to the State Governor on ICT, Ibifuro Asawor during the launch of the system in Port Harcourt said the ongoing automation of agencies and ministries in the state will help government be more effective and efficient in service delivery.
He said the major objective of the system is to have a central data to enhance health care delivery in the state, registration and approval of private service providers and regulation of medical service providers.
Others are registration and verification of medical practitioners in partnership with various medical associations, medical research and decision making.
