The Rivers State Government has issued a 7-day ultimatum to occupants of buildings marked for demoilition at Eleme and its environs to vacate.
The State Commissioner for Urban Development, Austin Ben Chioma disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.
He advised occupants of such properties to obey the directive as after the expiration of the ultimatum they will have themselves to blame.
He noted that the government had given them enough time to vacate the affected buildings.
