The Rivers State Ministry of Education, has commenced the refund of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination registration fees to students in all public schools in the state.
Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Chidi Adiele disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
He called on principals of public schools yet to submit account details of their students to do so with immediate effect.
The ministry, also directed parents/guardians to reconcile bank details of their children/wards with school authorities.
The statement reads,
“This serves to inform the general public that the Rivers State Government through the state Ministry of Education has since commenced the refund of the 2021 UTME registration fees to students in all public schools in the state.
Accordingly, principals of schools under reference who are yet to submit bank details of their Students as communicated earlier to them should please do so without delay.
Parents and guardians are enjoined to reconcile bank details of their children and wards with relevant school authorities.
