The Rivers State Government, has offered scholarship to 55 Medical students of the Rivers State University, Port Harcourt.
Governor Nyesom Wike, disclosed this during the foundation laying Ceremony for the construction of the Faculty of College of Medical Sciences.
He said monies paid by the 55 students should be returned to them. Adding that their bills should be sent to the government.
He also said over 400 medical students are on Scholarship at the PAMO University, and that all their fees till the completion of their studies have been paid.
The Governor, noted that the government is committed to investing heavily in educating youths of the State.
