The Rivers State Government has accused the Chairman of the Selection Committee in-charge of the Federal Government’s 774,000 public service jobs in the state, Dr. Innocent Barikor of hijacking the process in favor of members of his party, the APC.
Erastus Awortu, Special Adviser to Governor Nyesom Wike on NDDC matters made this known in a letter sent to Festus Keyamo, the State Minister of Labour and Productivity yesterday, Wednesday.
Awortu in the letter noted that the state government has equally distanced itself from the selection process accusing Barikor of politicising the process and breaching the guidelines for the recruitment.
