The Rivers State Government has said that the Rumuwoji Phase II market in Port Harcourt will be opened soon to traders for business.
The State commissioner for Housing, Tasie Chinedu who made this known in a chat with journalists yesterday said allocation and certification of shops have been concluded.
He asked shop owners not to panic as the state government is about to set-up a market management committee to oversee the affairs of the market.
He noted that if not for the COVID-19 pandemic, the state governor would have commissioned the newly built market.
