The Representative Council of the Students Union Government, Rivers State University has suspended the Director of Transport, Wike Goodleaf Shalom over alleged missapropriation of one million eight hundred thousand and sixty three thousand naira, amongst other crimes.
The council, disclosed this in a letter signed by Speaker of the House and other pricipal officers, Today.
It said the suspension was reached after deliberating on all charges against the officer, and that it takes effect from Thursday August 25 2022.
The coucil also revealed that the charges against the officer include, inefficiency, abuse of office, official corruption, proven misconduct, fraud, and disregard for the coucil.
Miss Shalom is yet to react to the development as messages sent to her have not been replied.
