The Student Union Government of the Rivers State University on Friday, July 28 2023 presented awards to 16 notable Nigerians for their numerous and continuous support towards the growth and development of students of the institution academically, spiritually and morally.
This was during the launch of a Social Capital Project titled “Lift” organized by the union at the Convocation Arena of the institution.
The project, aimed at mentoring, empowering and providing school fees grant for students was well attended by students and dignitaries from all walks of life.
Those awarded at the event include:

Prof. Bright Opara – Dean of Student Affairs
