Winners have emerged in the Vision and Success Opportunity challenge organised by the Princewills Trust for young leaders to pitch ideas and strategies for furthering their vision and success in life.
Stundents of the Rivers State University, Alex Tamuno Miegbam, a PhD student of History and International Diplomacy; Loveth Ichemati, a first-year student of English and Literature and Idoniboyeobu Omiete Opubo, a fourth-year student (ABUAD), emerged winners of the challenge.
The winners will visit Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a weeklong trip where they will learn and explore.
Princewills Trust, in conjunction with Dubai Department for Economy and Tourism (DET), is designed to help current Nigerian university undergraduates and postgraduates imagine realistic career models and investigate how to shift from concept to reality while still pursuing their studies.
Founder of the Trust, Prince Tony Princewill after the challenge said: “I always get excited when a new set of students embark on these boot camps. The post-trip reviews we have had from previous trips were so encouraging that we are considering expanding the scope of the challenge to include students from other states in Nigeria.
“Experiencing Dubai was a life changer for me. I hope it will be for them. I’d like to thank the whole team at Dubai Tourism and particularly the Africa Desk, led by Stella Fubara and Christian Romer and the ever-reliable CLR Education Consulting, led by Nneka Oduah. It’s your passion for our tomorrow that has made this possible,” he added.
