The Rivers State Governor – Sim Fubra has assured of improved security in the Rivers State University following a robbery incident in some of the hostels last night.
Fubara said this when he visited the school to assess the level of damage.
He was accompained to the school by chairman of the PDP in Rivers state, Amb. Desmond Akawor with other members of his cabinet.
Meanwhile, the management of the institution, says measures are on to ensure that such incident do not occur again.
It also said the Police are doing everything possible to apprehend the suspects.
