The Management of Rivers State University, has expelled one of its students, Suanu Wisdom who allegedly shot and killed a final year student of the school, Uzondu Chimena few days ago.
Spokesperson of the institution, Harcourt Whyte disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.
Dr. Whyte, who described the incident as sad, said the alleged killer was expelled for gross misconduct and killing of another student of the institution.
He explained that the school have stepped up security and sensitization campaigns against cultism.
Dr. Whyte, also called on students to shun all acts of cultism and face what brought them to the citadel of learning.
