The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has described the list of successful candidates for employment at Rivers State University as highly skewed to favour a section of the state.
Publicity Secretary of the party Darlington Nwauju in an interview with journalists expressed worry why most of the persons employed would be from the Ikwerre-speaking communities in a multi-ethnic state like Rivers.
He called for an immediate withdrawal of such lists adding that the lists do not promote a sense of belonging among the different tribes.
The new employees list of the institution was released yesterday, with names of persons employed allegedly from the Ikwerre-speaking communities.
