The Management of the  Rivers State University has announced that the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria has granted full accreditation status to the Department of Electrical Electronics Engineering and the Department of Agricultural Engineering in the institution.

Registrar of the institution, Dr. Eyinnah Sydney made this known in a statement Today Friday June 5 2020. Eyinnah who commended the council, noted that the full accreditation is to last for a period of five years.

The Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Nlerum Okogbule in a statement equally commended the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike for his tremendous support to the institution.

Meanwhile, stakeholders have commended the management of the institution for the achievement while noting that more of such feat should be attained.
