Vice Chancellor of the Rivers State University, Nlerum Okogbule has hailed the State Governor, Nyesom Wike for making the school the envy of many in the country.
The VC, in a statement during the commissioning of the new Senate building of the school, said they are appreciative of the Governor’s massive support.
He said there has been no disruption of academic activities in the institution, due to the transformation witnessed under Governor Wike.
Prof. Okogbule also stated that even during COVID-19 in 2020, the school was in session online.
“The university is appreciative of the conducive work environment and enhanced salary package you have provided us as staff of this university in comparison to with our colleagues in other universities, including federal universities,” he said.
