The Rivers State Police Command, says it would decisively deal with anyone planning to cause trouble in the State, following the planned protests across the nation on June 12 by activist groups.
The State Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday made this known during a meeting with the Nigeria Bar Association, Civil Society Organizations and other stakeholders in the State, on Thursday.
He said the Command is ready to deal with those bent on destabilizing the relative peace in the State.
The CP, also said he decided to call for the meeting to work with the different Organizations to ensure miscreants do not hijack the process.
He further explained that those who intend to carry out any form of protest or rally should formally inform the Police, for adequate security of lives and properties.
