The King of Ikuru Town in Andoni Local Government Area, Aaron Miller who was abducted over a month ago by unknown gunmen has been released.
Spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni disclosed this in a chat with journalists, yesterday.
He said the monarch was rescued over the weekend, after it arrested a suspect who provided them with useful information, and also took them to a thick forest where the monarch was kept.
Omoni said the release of the monarch was made possible, due to a robust synergy with the Police and other security agencies.
The monarch, in a statement, commended the Police for doing everything humanly possible to ensure his release.
