The Rivers State Police Command has disclosed that the rape case against one of its officers, Peter Ebah would soon be concluded and the outcome of the investigation made known to the public.
SP Nnamdi Omoni, who disclosed this in a chat with journalists yesterday, appealed to the public to cooperate with the police as justice would be served on the matter.
Omoni noted that the lady is expected to submit her medical report which will aid the investigation by simply proving if their was penetration or not.
He confirmed that the accused officer is expected to face an orderly room trial and if found guilty, be dismissed from the force before being charged to court.
The lady had accused the officer of raping her at a beer parlour in Sakpenwa, Tai, LGA, after arresting her for not wearing a nose mask.
