The Rivers State Police Command, has confirmed the death of a student of the State University, who was allegedly shot by another student, Today.
Spokesperson of the state command, Nnamdi Omoni disclosed this in a statement shortly after the incident in Port Harcourt.
He said there is no cause for alarm as one of the suspects have been arrested in connection to the incident.
“There is no cause for alarm. Activities are still going on in the school”, he said.
“We have arrested one member of the gangs and an investigation has also been launched,” he added.
Omoni, also disclosed that the body of the victim has been deposited to a morgue in the state.
