A police Sergeant attached to the Operations Department of the Rivers State Police Command, Ibrahim Odege has been arrested for allegedly involving in armed robbery.
Spokesperson of the state police command, Nnamdi Omoni disclosed this in a statement, over the weekend.
The officer and one Sampson Inomoghe were arrested at Elekahia Estate in Port Harcourt, by security guards, while robbing residents of their valuables.
Omoni who condemned the act, said the commissioner of police, Joseph Mukan has ordered a full investigation into the matter.
