The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the discovery of the body of a new born baby in a manhole at Ikwerre Road by Ekwe Street in Diobu, Port Harcourt.
Spokesperson of the Command, Grace Koko in a statement on Tuesday said the relevant agencies has been contacted to evacuate the corpse of the child.
Koko urged residents with useful information on the whereabout of the mother to report to the nearest Police station.
