The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the death of a female student of the University of Port Harcourt in Aluu, Ikwerre local government area of the state.
Spokesperson for the state police command, Grace Iringe-Koko, in a statement said investigation has commenced to ascertain the circumstances leading to her death.
“The Divisional Police Officer said a landlord came to report that he saw his tenant on the ground.
“So the DPO went there, they saw foam coming out from her nose and mouth and they also saw an insecticide close to her (the student).
“So they rushed her to the Hospital where she was confirmed dead. Investigation is ongoing to find out the circumstances leading to her death. “
