The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of two suspects who allegedly attempted to disrupt the campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress in Eleme local government area of the state.
Spokesperson of the command, Grace Iringe-Koko, made this known in a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
She said the suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for discrete investigation.
Suspected thugs yesterday, stormed venue of the All Progressives Congress, APC, campaign rally in Eleme Local Government Area of the State to disrupt it but, were apprehended and beaten to a pulp before they were taken away by the Police.
