The Rivers State Police Command, says it has arrested some students of the Rivers State University, suspected to be cultists.
Spokesperson of the state Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni made this known in a chat with Journalists, yesterday.
He said the suspects were arrested in connection with the shooting of a final year student of the institution, Blessing Ogolo, few days ago.
Omoni also stated that investigation revealed that Ogolo is a member of a rival cult group.
He said the suspects will be interrogated to unravel the situation and bring culprits to book.
Meanwhile, stakeholders have called on the management of the school to synergize with security agencies, so as to arrest all those engaged in cult activities on campus.
