The Rivers State Police Command has announced the death of its former Spokesperson, SP, Nnamdi Omoni.
The state Commissioner of Police in a statement through the command’s spokesperson, DSP, Grace Koko said the late officer passed on yesterday at the Rivers State Teaching Hospital.
The command commiserated with the family of the deceased, noting that further development will be communicated in due course after consultations with members of his family.
CP MOURNS DEMISE OF EMINENT DPO, SP NNAMDI OMONI
The Commissioner of Police, CP Eboka Friday, on behalf of the Command and his management team, regrets to announced the demise of SP Nnamdi Omoni, whose death occurred yesterday 30th August, 2022 at Rivers state Teaching Hospital (RSTH).
The late SP, who was an eminent communicator, hailed from Ndele in Emohua L.G.A. of Rivers State. He was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force on 01/11/1989, and served in various capacities including Rivers state command PPRO for many years. He was the DPO Elimgbu before his death.
The Command wishes to convey her heartfelt condolences to the Omoni’s family, friends, and all the good people of Rivers state.
Further development will be communicated in due course, after consultations with the family members. Meanwhile, condolence registers have been opened at the division and his family home.
