The Rivers State House of Assembly has called on the State Police Command to ensure the release of five persons kidnapped during a burial ceremony in Bonny LGA, few weeks ago.
This was following a motion moved by Hon. Abinye Pepple, member representing Bonny constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly during plenary yesterday.
The Speaker, Hon. Ikunyi Ibani called on the House committee on neighborhood watch to work with security agencies and ensure the release of the kidnap victims now known as Bonny Five.
He said the House will continue to stand with Hon. Abinye Pepple and security agencies to ensure their unconditional release.
