The Rivers State House of Assembly, is inviting the general public to a public hearing on two bills which are: The Rivers State Prohibition of the Curtailment of the Rights of Women to share in Family Property, and the Compulsory Treatment and Care for Victims of Gunshots Bill, 2022.
The public hearing is to hold on Wednesday 16th March 2022 by 10:00am at the Main Auditorium of the Rivers State House of Assembly Complex, Moscow Road, Port Harcourt.
The Assembly, in a statement said stakeholders and the general public are further invited to collect and study the Bills which have wild implications and make their presentations during the hearing or submit their memoranda to the Ad-Hoc Committee through room 012, at the Assembly Complex Moscow Road.
It noted that the memoranda should be submitted before 10:00am on Wednesday 16th March 2022.
